25 things about Tarek El Moussa that you don’t know

If you are an HGTV fan, you probably know a lot about Tarek El Moussa. Everything from his cancer scared to his divorce Flip or Flop co-star Christina Anstead to his engagement to Heather Rae Young is out in the open. However, there still is so much that is unknown to the public.

Tarek El Moussa, in a video, shared some fun facts about himself with Us Weekly, and we have them right here.

1. Moussa’s favorite subject in school was maths since it was the only thing he understood.
2. He was a straight-C student.
3. His very first job was as a bag boy at Stater Bros. Markets in Buena Park, California.
4. His worst job was cleaning big diesel trucks in Compton, California and he got paid $3.75 an hour under the table.
5. When Moussa was a kid, he thought he will be an engineer.
6. The song that he could listen to on repeat for the rest of his life is “Juicy” by The Notorious B.I.G.
7. I don’t rewatch episodes of his shows.
8. He first knew that he wanted to get into real estate in 2003 when he was 20 years old.
9. His biggest fear is sharks.
10. His worst flipping experience was when he bought a house last year. It almost fell over when he fixed the foundation.
11. The second he saw Heather, he knew she was The One.
12. His favorite part about being a dad is spending time with his kids.
13. Moussa’s favorite thing to do with his kids is date night. he loves taking them to their favorite restaurants. They also love wrestling. They move the couches around in the living room, set up a ring, and just go for it.
14. His favorite place to visit is his other home, which is in the desert in La Quinta, California.
15. Moussa has a tattoo of a big black spider-looking tribal on his back which he got it in high school.

17. Moussa’s most memorable fan experience was back in 2013 when he had the chance to meet Ryan Reed, a registered nurse out of Texas who was watching Flip or Flop. She noticed a lump on my neck and messaged me. He found out he had thyroid cancer because of her.
18. The scariest moment in his life happened a few months later when he found out he also had testicular cancer. He thought he was going to die.
19. Moussa is a huge UFC fan.
20.  If he could trade places with a celebrity for a day, it would be the light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.
21. His favorite childhood memories are from when his dad used to come to his school and take him to lunch.
22. Moussa’s favorite cheat meal is pizza, topped with pepperoni, jalapeno, ham, and pineapple, with about three gallons of ranch dressing and a lot of red chili flakes.
23. His reality TV guilty pleasure is Selling Sunset.
24. His hobby is doing hot yoga.
25. Moussa is passionate about every single day and all the opportunities that this world has to offer, and the second chance that life has given him.
