1.Washington only had a grade-school educational qualification
George Washington’s formal education stopped when he was 11 years old because his father died. That incident led to young George bereft of the opportunity to be educated abroad in England. Washington’s mother didn’t get remarried, which exposed a lot of burden on the adolescent’s shoulder at young age, being the oldest among his siblings.

2.He was one of the sickliest President of America
Through his entire life, Washington dealt with a truckload of ailment, such as, diphtheria, tuberculosis, smallpox, dysentery, malaria, quinsy (tonsillitis), carbuncle, pneumonia, and epiglottitis among others.

3. Washington was responsible for triggering a war
At the age of 21, Washington was assigned to lead a British colonial army against the French in Ohio. He lost, and the conflict between the French and the British transformed into the French and Indian War and helped spark the Seven Years War in North America.

4. Washington had no children
The first American President did not have any biological children. Even though, there were children present at Mount Vernon all the time. They brought up Martha Washington’s two children from her last marriage, and her four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

5.Washington had only one real tooth until his inauguration
George Washington started losing his teeth during his mid-20s at a rate of one tooth each year. He dealt with a lot of tooth issues through out his life. Even though, his dental hygiene was most likely to be more sophisticated than that of other men of that era. In 1789, the year he was inaugurated, he wore a set of clacking, creaky dentures.
6. George formed his own dog breed
George Washington was fond of dogs and fox hunting. He naturally went on to breed the ideal foxhound. Because of his work in this department, he is sometimes known as the father of the American Foxhound, according to Animal Planet. He petted 36 pups, and named them cute names like Sweet Lips, Tipsy, Venus, and True Love.

7.George Washington was the first to sign the United States Constitution
George Washington was chosen by everyone to lead the Constitutional Convention, a job that demanded four months. He spoke very less in the convention, but some delegates were more determined to plan a government endowed with real energy and authority. And as the president of the convention, Washington was given the privilege of being the first to add his name to this governing document.
