[Exclusive] Punjabi movie ‘Padma Shri Kaur Singh’ may not release in 2021

Karam Batth had announced his next film, a biopic on the legendary boxer and Padma Shri winner Kaur Singh. It is a film that people are looking forward to watching. Unfortunately, the film may not release in 2021.

According to sources, the film took over three years in its making. And when it finally was ready for release, the situation amid the global pandemic didn’t seem too well for the film to be released.

Since Punjabi movies find their audience, mainly, in Australia, North America, and England, the ongoing pandemic has caused the makers of the film to delay the release.

Sources have also revealed that the makers plan on working on the Hindi remake of Padma Shri Kaur Singh after the release of the original film.
