#dreamappreciationday trends on Twitter after a heated backlash faced by the YouTuber’s fans

It’s the wrong day for a trend! The whole world of the internet blew up when the fans of Dream the YouTuber went on remembering him and his work on the 25th of March. #dreamappreciationday started trending on Twitter after his fans created the trend encouraging the gamer’s work.

The American YouTuber came to become a global icon after his successful gaming YouTube channel about Minecraft skyrocketed. His videos were appreciated by everyone giving 10,000,000 followers and a diamond play button.

However, the trend of the appreciation faced a bad backlash when some of the people and fans started pointing out that coincidently 25th March is also remembered as the slave trade day worldwide. Oops!!

After this people started commenting and tweeting about the blended coincidence and realized it’s a bad day to start a trend for a YouTuber when the slave trade should be a major concern.

This made the hashtag Dream appreciation day trend on number one.

What a global disaster!
