Here’s everything to know about Jen Shah and her fraud arrest
Jen Shah showed up on Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and is the CEO of a few effective advertising efforts. She’s been open about her business, telling Entertainment Tonight that her specialty is “adaptation.” Jen—alongside her associate Stuart Smith—was captured on March 30, and per Entertainment Tonight is dealing with government indictments of “intrigue to submit wire extortion and tax evasion.”
Manhattan U.S. Lawyer Audrey Strauss delivered the accompanying articulation: “Jennifer Shah, who portrays herself as a wealthy and successful business person on ‘reality television, and Stuart Smith, who is portrayed as Shah’s ‘first assistant,’ allegedly generated and sold ‘lead lists’ of innocent individuals for other members of their scheme to repeatedly scam. In actual reality and as alleged, the so-called business opportunities pushed on the victims by Shah, Smith, and their co-conspirators were just fraudulent schemes, motivated by greed, to steal victims’ money. Now, these defendants face time in prison for their alleged crimes.”
