The novel Coronavirus was not so noble with taking over the world of Entertainment! When it came to taking over the Hollywood industry the virus took over some of the global icons dominating their health.

It started with Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson who were the first of Hollywood A-listers to have tested positive for the virus. However, it certainly took over other celebrities spreading its foothold worldwide. Here are some top A-listers that went through COVID-19 diagnosis and came out “positive.”

Benedict Cumberbatch

Well, “Doctor Strange” was not so sorcerer after all! The Avenger star got infected by the virus in the month of April 2020. While the star was shooting in South Africa he was taken ill due to a severe virus which he recalls now was COVID-19 and claims that he might be patient zero bringing the virus into the US. The fans stand to defer!

Chloe Bennet

The “Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D” star was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus on December 31st of 2020 on the eve of New Years’. She was taken ill during Christmas morning and was tested positive with COVID-19 shortly after. The aftermath for the star has been really hard according to her own statement. She addressed the fans saying she was conscious more than ever but still had it adding “if it can happen to me it can happen to you.”

 

Ellen DeGeneres

The popular tv talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres caught up with the COVID-19 virus on December 10th of 2020. The star took to her social media handle announcing the news and asking people to be aware and get tested if they have been in contact with her. The comedian was fortunately not affected much and was back to make us laugh after the holidays.

Kristen Stewart

The Twilight star was affected by the virus around Christmas while filming her upcoming project Happiest Season in Pittsburgh. The star’s friend took to her social media saying “COVID was on our set. Kristen got sick but we didn’t know.”

Jo Jo Siwa

The young star contracted the virus from her brother which she revealed in the Entertainment Tonight interview. “I did end up getting it, the big, dreaded COVID-19. It got through my whole family” the star remarked. The star’s recovery was fast enough with controlled measures.
