Phoebe Robinson’s adventure on ropes with Kevin Bacon; Reveals she is ‘afraid of heights’

Phoebe Robinson is struggling to get past her fear of heights in a rope course from  Kevin Bacon.

In a sneak peek clip at the upcoming episode of Doing the Most With Phoebe Robinsonthe comedian asks  Bacon to teach her “how to be an outdoorsy person.”

When Bacon says that it  helps to put him “in a different headspace,” Robinson admits , “I get why you hike.” Subsequently, in the rope course, Robinson admits that she’s “afraid of heights,” but feels she may be able to “conquer it if I do it with someone by my side.”

After a break, they gather up their equipments and Bacon makes his way straight up the ladder. Though Robinson was “truly terrified”, Bacon tells her, “I am so impressed with you right now,” on her climb.

It never gets any easier for her,as one of her hoop earrings falls out and her harness gets “more up my vagina than my gyno has ever been.” Adding these to her fear of heights, render Robinson to  exclaim, “This is the worst show ever!”

I just want to make a deal that if I fall off this I’m not getting back on and it’s fine,” she says. “Because, you know, it’s my civil rights. Martin Luther King Jr. fought so I can say ‘no’ to white nonsense whenever I want.”

Bacon always with his composure intact, tells Robinson however not to “make me laugh too much because I’m going to fall right off this g**damn thing.”

Robinson never stops nagging as to  why the ropes course was invented and wonders if completing it will “give me Angela Bassett arms.”

Once completed, she acknowledges Bacon as being “the perfect partner for something like this.” The rope adventure ends  with their sweet hug on solid ground.
