John Stamos opens up on career regrets, ‘Full House’ and his new comedy ‘Big Shot’
John Stamos (57) is coming up with an all new comedy series ‘Big Shot’ which will be streaming this Friday. John recently talked about his life regrets, constant attachment to ‘Full House’ and his upcoming new comedy ‘Big Shot’ in an interview with USA Today.
John played Jesse Katsopolis in the eight-season long ABC sitcom ‘Full House’ that streamed on Netflix. The show ended the previous year.
His upcoming Disney+ comedy series ‘Big Shot’ is all set to stream on Friday. John will be playing Marvyn Korn, a disgraced and hotheaded college basketball coach who after getting terminated from his previous NCAA job, tries to cope up with his image at a private girls’ school.

He shared, “I learnt medical jargon on ‘ER’ easier than this sports stuff.” Stamos shares of putting in a lot of efforts for his new role. He studied ex college basketball coach Bobby Knight.
Former basketball player ‘Jerry West’ is now in consultation with the team. Stamos further added, “I threw the basketball at the rim, and it hit and came back and smashed me right in the face,” says Stamos. “And of course they left it in the show.”

John said that he became a part of ‘Big Shot’ as he wanted to work with David Kelly.
On talking about his career regrets, Stamos shares, “I have regrets of my behavior, sometimes. I have regrets of not working hard enough on certain shows, or just getting by on whatever (expletive) that I could get by on. But the shows, no. The things that you think you’re going to regret are now the funny things to show. I did (the 1985 TV movie) “Alice in Wonderland” and it was this big, sweeping (thing) – like a thousand stars – Sammy Davis Jr., and I had this song and dance thing with Harvey Korman (“The Carol Burnett Show”) and it is, like, “Oh, my God!” And I remember seeing him and (going), “Oh, this is the most embarrassing,” and now I love it.”
