Lucy Hale praises ex-boyfriend Colton Underwood for coming out as gay

The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Lucy Hale has extended her support to ex Colton Underwood after the latter came out as a gay. Lucy praised Colton for his courage to do so and posted an Instagram story tagging him for the same on April 15.

Lucy posted Colton’s photo and wrote alongside, “I’m really, really happy for you @coltonunderwood. You deserve to be seen, heard, and accepted for exactly who you are.”

She further added, “Brave, bold moves and I’m HERE FOR IT.”

Lucy Hale was romantically involved with the former NFL player Colton Underwood after he broke up with Cassie Randolph, who was the winner of Bachelor in it’s 23rd season in May 2020 and posted about him publicly after nine years since then.

Lucy was first captured with Underwood while hiking with him in July 2020 in the Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. This sparked out their dating rumours.

A US Weekly source said, “Colton and Lucy have been hanging out and casually dating in a non-traditional way due to the [coronavirus] pandemic. Colton is really happy.”

Underwood came out as gay in April 14 during his interview with ‘Good Morning America’ and confessed that after going through a dark phase in his life, he is finally the happiest and the healthiest of all times now that he has come out.
