Deborah Cox to play a recurring role in HBO Max’s Station Eleven
Artiste Deborah Cox is to be seen in a recurring role in HBO Max’s Station Eleven. Comprising 10 episodes, this drama series is a story of the horrendous flu and the aftermath. Based on the international bestseller by Emily St. John Mandel, it showcases the uncertainties associated with uncertain times and the struggle to redesign the world.
In this, Cox is to play a musician Wendy, who seeks to do more. Earlier, Cox had a National tour as the protagonist in the musical The Bodyguard. She headlined the BET movie Influence and also appeared in the Lifetime movie V.C. Andrews’ Rub and recurred in the BET comedy series The First Wives Club. Her seventh studio album is set for release in 2021.
Station Eleven is written by Somerville and executive produced by Scott Steindorff, Scott Delman, Dylan Russell, Nate Matteson, Jeremy Podeswa and Jessica Rhoades Somerville.Nick Cuse and David Nicksay will serve as co-EPs. Paramount TV Studios is the studio.
