McDonalds team up with BTS for their special celebrity meal launch

BTS has been on the list of the latest superstars to team up with McDonalds for a new celebrity meal.

The fast food giant on Monday announced their plan of launching BTS meal on May 26 in the U.S. and 11 other countries. Following which in May and June, the meal will be launched in 50 countries.

The fast food chain had also teamed up with Travis Scott and J Balvin to launch similar limited celebrity meals.

The meal includes medium fries, medium coke with 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and for the first time in U.S. – Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauce. The sauces are inspired by popular recipes from the South Korea, where the boy band is from.

“We’re excited with this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world,” says Big Hit Music, record label of BTS.

Customers in U.S. can order BTS meal through drive-thru, McDonald’s mobile, in a restaurant, or through chain’s delivery service, McDelivery.

McDonald’s chief marketing officer, Morgan Flatley, in statement says that “We’re excited to bring customers closer to their beloved band in a way only McDonald’s can – through delicious food.”
