Condé Nast Entertainment gets on board Marvel’s Sarah Amos as VP of Development and Production

Condé Nast Entertainment has now on board Marvel Entertainment’s executive Sarah Amos as Vice President of development and production for non-fiction TV and documentaries) according to Deadline.

The hiring is part of the company’s global entertainment strategy and efforts to grow a film, TV and audio business that leverages the company’s portfolio of brands and IP.

She will report to Helen Estabrook, who recently got on board as head of CNE’s film and television division. “Sarah not only brings with her best-in-class development and production experience, she’s also an expert storyteller with the ability to translate compelling material across a variety of platforms,” said Estabrook. “We’re thrilled to have her on the CNE team.”

Before joining CNE she was a part of Marvel Entertainment’s New Media division, where she served as Vice President of development. She looked after the video, live streaming and audio content slate for Marvel.com and third-party platforms, including SiriusXM and the company’s non-fiction content for Disney+.

Amos was an Executive Producer on the Disney+ original series Marvel’s Behind The Mask, Marvel’s Hero Project and Marvel’s 616–a collaboration with Supper Club, the team behind Netflix’s Chef’s Table.

Before Marvel, Amos worked in producer capacities at ABC News, including for its flagship program, World News with Diane Sawyer.
