MTV Movie and TV Awards Nominations revealed: WandaVision, Emily in Paris and RuPaul’s Drag Race top the list

MTV has announced the nominees for it’s MTV Movie and TV Awards live ceremony that will take place on Sunday, May 16.

Disney’s WandaVision tops the list with it’s nominations for five categories including the best show, the best performance in a show and the next villain.

Netflix’s series Emily in Paris following behind with four nominations including one for the best show.

Amazon’s series The Boys too with Emily In Paris as it secures for nominations to it’s name including the one for the best show.

Other nominees for the script include Bridgerton, The Mandalorian and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

The long running series of RuPaul’s Drag Race is leading the unscripted nominations with nine of them to it’s name including those for the best competition series, the best reality cast and the best host among others.

Other annual awards nominees include Chadwick Boseman for his work in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and first time nominations including Carey Mulligan, Anya Taylor-Joy and Michaela Coel.

The MTV Movies and TV Awards will be aired live on May 17. The rest of the details including that of the hosts and the presenters will be revealed later. The voting shall begin on April 30 through the website ‘vote.mtv.com’ for the fans to vote for their favourites.
