In order to tackle climate change, Biden has the vision to turn American buses into electric buses. This includes the 475,000 school buses and 65,000 transit buses. For America to cut carbon emission by half, every American has to change the car they are driving.
The White House expects that this move or step will not only tackle the climate change, but will also help create employment among the Americans.
It is also important for the government to focus on improving the communities which have experienced the worst due to climate change, including the indigenous communities.
As we tackle climate change, we must also focus on communities hardest hit by it, including indigenous communities—and consider their insight and experience in our efforts moving forward. They are critical leaders in this fight.
