British television director Charles Beeson dies at the age of 40

Charles was best known for his work in Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. He was also working for the upcoming adaptation of Around The World In 80 Days.

He started his career with BBC’s east enders and one of his most known works is spy series spooks his other major works include 14 episodes of Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Timeless and The Person of Interest.

Jim Beaver, who worked with him in the Supernatural, showed grief on Twitter.

In his tribute to Charles, Beaver wrote, “RIP my great friend Charles Beeson, who started directing on EastEnders and worked as a genial and genuinely lovely friend directing many episodes of Supernatural, Revolution, and Timeless that I worked on. A sweeter and more gently gregarious fellow you couldn’t meet.”

It is learnt that the director succumbed to death due to heart attack.
