‘Tears of Joy’ Elliot Page recalls journey as transgender with Oprah Winfrey
Elliot Page gave his first interview as a transgender with Oprah Winfrey. He shares the story on how, after years of questions and answers and struggle he chose to be himself.
The 34-year-old actor, who has starred in more than one hit movie like the Juno and the Inception, finally shed his tears of joy as a revelation of her journey to being himself today. The interview was filmed for the Apple TV+ series The Oprah Conversation and will start streaming from April 30th.
Elliot, in another interview for the Vanity Fair, had revealed him being one hundred percent certain throughout his childhood that he was a boy. “I knew I was a boy when I was a toddler,” the actor said. “I was writing fake love letters and signing them ‘Jason’.” said the actor.
It was in the recent circumstances of trans community being looked upon, why he decided to reveal his sexuality in support of others out there.
He also strongly mentioned how anti-trans activists and and anti-LGBT activists with their long speeches are going to be responsible for deaths of many children.
