With the upcoming Pride month in June, many celebrities took to their social media handles to spread awareness about non-binary terms. But being a ‘non-binary’ artist in the Tinseltown adds a rather personal aspect to it, right? Here, we have compiled the names of such proud non-binary artists who came out in open and are now looked upon.
1. Demi Lovato

One of the most celebrated artists across the globe, recently, Demi took the Internet by storm on May 20, with their announcement that they now are recognised as non-binary. They should be addressed with ‘they/them’ pronouns and stated, “Over the past year and a half, I have been doing some healing and self-reflective work, and through this work, I’ve had the revelation that I identify as non-binary. With that said, I’ll officially be changing my pronouns to they/them.”
2. Halsey

The singer asserted that she wants to be identified with she/they pronouns in March 2021. She took to her Instagram stories to extend her gratitude to fans for all their support.
3. Janelle Monae

The American singer-songwriter had been openly pansexual for some real-time. She prefers the pronouns ‘she/they. “I think people can call me whatever it is they want to call me. I know who I am. I know my journey. And I don’t have to declare anything”, Janelle stated to Variety last June.
