Cillian Murphy turns 45; Here’s how fans wish the ‘Peaky Blinders’ star

Happy 45th Birthday Cillian Murphy! 

Cillian Murphy is an Irish actor, born on May 25, 1976, in Douglas, Ireland, to father Brendan Murphy.

He initially began his career in rock music, while trying his hands at singing and performing for a rock band named ‘The Sons of Mr. Green Genes’, where he mastered multitasking, serving as a pianist, lead singer as well as a songwriter.

Due to certain inconvenience, Murphy declined a record deal in 1990s, failing miserably as a musician, and decided to try his hands at acting.

Cillian began acting at theaters, in short plays on stage as well as in few minor roles in television and independent movies.

After years of struggle, the budding actor finally got his breakthrough with his mainstream debut playing the character Darren in the drama series ‘Disco Pigs’, released in 2001, that helped Murphy gain worldwide prominence.

The brilliant superstar has given the industry some of the finest gems of movies in his initial acting days, that include, zombie horror ’28 Days Later’, in 2002, dark satire ‘Intermission’ in 2003, action-thriller ‘Red Eye’ in 2001 and drama ‘Breakfast on Pluto’ in 2005.

Cillian went ahead to star in some of the greatest blockbuster movies of all times, especially with the award-winning director Christopher Nolan, which include ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy, ‘Inception’ in 2010 and ‘Dunkirk’ in 2017.
