Users can withdraw cryptocurrencies from PayPal to other wallets
After the crypto market crash, investors associated with it have taken quite a hit. PayPal had started accepting in cryptocurrencies only last year, in October. They had until now not allowed their users to deal with their crypto balances.
They have announced today that the users can remove their money and transfer it to wallets provided by any other Online Payment App. “They want to bring their crypto to us so they can use it in commerce, and we want them to be able to take the crypto they acquired with us and take it to the destination of their choice,” said Jose Fernandez da Ponte, blockchain lead, PayPal.
BREAKING: @PayPal plans to allow customers to withdraw cryptocurrency to third-party wallets for the first time since it began offering buy and sell options last year, an executive said at #Consensus2021.
