Idaho abrogates the mask mandate
In her capacity as the acting Governor of the state of Idaho, while Gov. Brad Little attends Republican Governors Association conference, Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin issued an order to repeal the mask mandate, that was introduced at the time when COVID 19 was at large, in the whole state.
βFor those who feel at risk, then they should continue to wear (masks). But to force it on others I think is not right,β Lt. Gov. said to the press today. She also clarifies that the order can be taken back by Gov. Little if he finds any error in it.
Today, as acting Governor of the State of Idaho, I signed an Executive Order to protect the rights and liberties of individuals and businesses by prohibiting the state and its political subdivisions β including public schools β from imposing mask mandates in our state. #idpol pic.twitter.com/Nmb6DX9v6X
