We wish Angelina a very happy birthday!
Angelina Jolie, is an American actress, filmmaker and a philanthropist, born on June 4, 1975, in Los Angeles, California.
One of the best and the highest paid Hollywood actors, Jolie is a proud recipient of several accolades including an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards.
Let’s take a look back, at some of her wonderful accomplishments as an actress, who has given this industry some of the finest and blockbuster movies of all times-
#1 Gia, 1998

One of the actress’ best movies till date, Angelina provides complete justice to the role of the protagonist, who is a model named Gia Marie Carangi, in this biographical drama of 1998.
The story revolves around her high and low life moments, right from her traumatic childhood, and featuring on the cover for the New York City to her drug addiction phase.
#2 Changeling, 2008

Angelina played the role of Christine Collins in this 2008 tragic drama based on a true story, which revolves around the protagonist fighting to know the truth after she assumes that the child returned to her after his abduction is not her son.
This one proves to be quite inspiring and features a more accomplished ending rather than the entire movie.
#3 ‘Kung Fu Panda’ trilogy (2008, 2011,2016)

Jolie gave her wonderful voice to the animated tigress in the epic cartoon franchise. Having lent her voice alongside Jack Black as panda Po for all of it’s three sequels that began in 2008, these comedies served to be great family adventures with an extra inclination towards the younger generation, of course!
#4 A Mighty Heart, 2007

Another one based on true life incidents, the actress plays the lead role of Mariane Pearl.
Revolving around the story of a woman, who constantly seeks justice for her husband Danny Pearl’s sudden disappearance, leading to his death, Jolie grabbed all eyeballs, even those of the critics, who appreciated the star for her brilliant onscreen portrayal alongside Dan Futterman.
#5 Salt, 2010

The beauty has so much more to offer with her extravagant action skills, which make her an apt choice for some action adventures like this one.
Jolie portrays CIA officer Evelyn Salt in this action thriller of 2010, who gets falsely accused of being a Russian spy and sets on a run to protect her identity.
Unfortunately this didn’t go too well down the critical line, however the audience really found her spy thriller to be as funny and time killing as stupid.
#6 Mr. And Mrs. Smith, 2005

Another one from Jolie’s action movie collections.
Playing Jane Smith in this 2005 action comedy alongside Brad Pitt as John Smith, the actress did an amazing job while giving out some dark humour.
The story is based on the Smith couple, who work for rival firms as their number one assassins.
#7 Maleficent, 2014

An epic Disney movie came out as something more interesting in this 2014’s movie starring Angelina in the lead, as the well known villian ‘Maleficent’.
The story revolves around her wicked journey of ruling over a land and gaining power by cursing a young girl, after which she develops a bond with her and we find her heart melting and turning full of love.
#8 Girl Interrupted, 1999

Angelina plays fellow patient Lisa alongside Winona Ryder, in this 1999 drama movie.
Set in a psychiatric ward for patients with mental disorders, the story goes around Susanna, who gets forcibly admitted to the ward with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.
It revolves around her journey of meeting other new patients there, much more crazy and wild, making new friends, and one among them is Lisa, who becomes her best.
