American Horror Story: Double Feature; checkout the release date, cast and more

The anthology horror tv series ‘American Horror Story’ is back with a brand new season, that seems to be better and scarier than it’s previous installments.

After having completed nine successful seasons since it’s debut in 2011, the series is back with season 10, titled ‘Double Feature’.

In co-creation with Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the show streams on FX network, with each season having it’s unique cast, theme and a storyline, along with different beginnings, climaxes and endings.

Even though Jessica Lang backed out from the show, Ryan has proved his excellence as a creator, having released absolutely horrifying episodes and series overtime, taking us all by surprise.

Although there’s not much official information announced about the new installment yet, we have listed everything we know about it and you should too, right from it’s release date and cast to the storyline-

Release Date

It is estimated, that season 10 will go on floors, somewhere around August, but one thing that we are certain of, is that this won’t be the ending of the ‘American Horror Story’.

So it is obvious, that this will not be the final season and we would have few more to go, at the least, till season 13.

Apart from the tenth installment, we will also be looking forward to a new spinoff series, with brand new episodes every week, coming out this summer at the same time, as confirmed by Ryan.

Cast

We are aware of Jessica Lang’s departure from the show, an Emmy Award recipient, who played a critical character on the show.

However since her astonishing special appearance in season 8, playing Constance Langdon, fans are speculating that she might as well return for season 10.

Jessica had already cleared the air amidst her return rumours in her interview with ‘The Wrap’, saying “I don’t think I would want to start from scratch and create a character.”

Talking about the remaining cast, we were lucky enough to know the deeds, all thanks to Ryan for his Instagram post!

A good news, we’ll be getting to see some of our favorite original cast too, who have starred in previous episodes, and they include, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe and Evan Peters.

A few other popular actors would also be included, such as Wittrock, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Angelica Ross and Adina Porter.

While we know that actor Macaulay Culkin, the child artist of ‘Home Alone’, has also been tapped in for a role, what we do not know, is about the character he will be portraying.

Teaser and Storyline

While there’s no full-length trailer for this season released officially yet, we did witness a 35 second long animated video, hinting at it’s title ‘double feature’, that means season 10 will portray two horror stories, probably one by the waters, and the other by the land.

The plot is also under wraps as not much about the new season has been disclosed yet. But since it is scheduled to release by the summer, we might have an official  trailer and a plot super soon.
