Car crashes into protestors; one injured, one dead

A car plowed into a group of protestors in Minneapolis last night. One person who was severely injured in the incident on site succumbed to the injuries, the other injured person is stable. The driver of the vehicle was injured as well, identity yet to be disclosed. After the crash, the driver was pulled out and struck by the protestors, soon after the police arrived and took control of the matter, the police said.

The police statement said that “Preliminary investigation indicates that the use of drugs or alcohol by the driver may be a contributing factor in this crash.”
