Not many may be aware of the fact, that many of the popular celebrity couples chose to welcome their children in this world, via a surrogate mother.
Either struggling with fertility issues or simply for their convenience, many stars have opted surrogacy for child birth.
Here are some of the star couples, who took this decision for expanding their families and embracing motherhood and fatherhood, right from Kim Kardashian and Cameron Diaz, to Nicole Kidman and Jimmy Fallon.
#1 Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ reality star welcomed her third child, daughter Chicago, with rapper husband Kanye West, on January 15, 2018, via surrogacy.
Now parents of four, daughters North and Chicago, and sons Saint and Psalm, opted for this procedure as Kim had faced a deadly condition known as placenta accreta, during both her previous pregnancies.
#2 Hilaria Baldwin and Alec Baldwin

They had a successful child birth via surrogacy, as officially confirmed by the couple in March 2021.
Alec and Hilaria announced, that they welcomed their sixth child via this procedure.
#3 Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden

The American musician and ‘The Box’ actress, welcomed their child, daughter Raddix, via surrogacy.
The couple confirmed in January 2020, that they feel this baby is a miracle, according to a ‘Us’ source.

The gay couple were happy to announce their family planning through a surrogate, with an adorable message they posted on their Facebook page that read, “While we can’t share much, we can say that thanks to a surrogate and the support of those we love we will officially be a family in the spring of 2015!”

The ‘Pitch Perfect’ alum welcomed both of her kids with husband Max through a surrogate mother.
In conversation with ‘Lucky Magazine’ in February 2012, Elizabeth opened up on her decision to opt for surrogacy, sharing, “It was a womb issue for me. Embryos wouldn’t implant. It’s a big leap, inviting this person into your life to do this amazing, important thing for you. And it’s hard losing that kind of control. The American comedian and the ‘The Late Night’ talk show host welcomed both of his children, daughters Winnie and Frances, with wife Nancy, through surrogacy.
Winnie was born in 2013, while Frances arrived a year later, in 2014.
In his interview with ‘Today’ show, in August 2013, Fallon opened up on their struggle for childbirth, after which they took this decision, sharing, “My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby. We tried a bunch of things, so we had a surrogate.”
