Argentine Port Worker Unions to go on a nationwide 24-hour strike regarding COVID 19 vaccinations

The Port Unions will begin their strike at midnight. The strike is being organized to push the matter of vaccinations against Coronavirus that they have been vocalizing for quite some time. The vaccination drive has gradually decreased its speed in the country. The port authorities have collectively requested the government to appropriately resolve the matter at hand so that the shipping is not adversely affected.

In their statement, the Unions stated- “We have raised the issue and held meetings with different authorities with the purpose of obtaining concrete answers regarding the application of vaccines against COVID-19 to our workers. But to date, we have not obtained concrete answers or solutions.”
