Catholic Politicians in support of abortion rights are to be rebuked by Catholic Bishops’ Teaching Document
Today marked the end of the three-day-long meet of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops where they voted for the drafting of a ‘teaching document’ to rebuke the Catholic Politicians like Biden who are supporters of Abortion Rights and are actively, passionately working on making the procedure more accessible and safe.
The Conference believes that these Politicians should be criticized for their work despite receiving communion at the same time. The votes were cast yesterday and the consensus was 168-55, the 55 against the votes were mostly reluctant of the image this decision will portray.
Bishop Robert McElroy of San Diego was against the whole notion, he said that “It would be impossible to prevent the weaponization of the Eucharist.”
