They had their first date at the super bowl. Offset later revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine that his publicist was the one to fix the date between the two rappers. In May 2017, the rappers collaborated on Cardi B’s track “lick.” Despite the song was teased in December 2016 the couple were not dating until the Super bowl.

The couple eventually tied the knot secretly. Even though the relationship was now official, Offset still decided to show his lady all the grand gestures of love and proposed to her with a massive 8-carat diamond ring in October 2017.
