Final meeting with Trump Organization before Cyrus Vance files charges

Attorneys for the Trump Organization are set to meet with Manhattan prosecutors on Monday and this could be a final meeting before District Attorney Cyrus Vance files charges against the company. Though the charges are unclear the allegations can put trump into financial peril.

The Manhattan DA’s office has been focusing on Weisselberg in an effort to persuade him to cooperate with the investigation. Trump Org attorney Ronald P. Fischetti said that prosecutors would likely go forward with the case as part of an effort to keep the pressure on Weisselberg after a virtual meeting held on Friday.

“For decades we knew that Trump was cheating in Atlantic City, the university, his workers, the charities and now everything is coming home to roost,” Gershman told TPM.
