Wendy Williams talks about rumors of her hook-up with B.I.G.

Wendy Williams addressed her rumored hook-up with the late Notorious B.I.G. – née Christopher Wallace – in her Lifetime documentary What A Mess!

“Big was one of the rappers that was never scared to come see me. We just had a cool relationship. He’s the hit with the music, and I was the hit on the radio,” Williams said. “I liked him. He had a great sense of humor, and he liked to eat. One day, after we did an interview, Big asked me out. I said yeah. I wasn’t thinking about Big in a romantic way. I mean, he was a nice guy, but definitely not my type. But I was still very single and, you know, a young girl. And I was out here, doing it,” she added.

In the ’90s, the B.I.G. and Wendy’s rumors stirred up some on-air drama with rapper’s ex Lil Kim. However, the two are getting along now.
