Dustin Diamond passes away at the age of 44

Dustin Diamond passed away on February 1, at the age of 44, due to carcinoma.

A rep for the actor shared with NBC News, “He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago. In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful.”

The sudden passing of the Saved by the Bell star comes just a couple of weeks after it was reported that he would begin chemotherapy for stage 4 lung cancer.
