Kim Kardashian listens to breakup song after filing for divorce

Last week, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West. She’s asked for joint legal and physical custody of their four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1.

While neither Kim nor Kanye have commented on the matter, Kim did appear to hint at it with a video she posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday. As she was on her way to Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs home to celebrate her BFF Jonathan Cheban’s birthday, she’s listening to a breakup song – Drivers License by Olivia Rodrigo – which debuted at No.1 in the UK charts earlier this year.

Kim captioned the latter part of the video with ‘ 🔪💚🤍🤎🖤💚 🔪’. One cannot help but just try to guess what it might have meant.

The lyrics might give us some insight though, as Kim shared the part of the song that says: “All my friends are tired / Of hearing how much I miss you /but I kinda feel sorry for them / Cause they’ll never know you the way that I do, yeah.”

“Today I drove through the suburbs / And pictured I was driving home to you / And I know we weren’t perfect / But I’ve never felt this way for no one, oh / And I just can’t imagine how you could be so okay, now that I’m gone / I guess you didn’t mean what you wrote in that song about me.”
