Where can I get the vaccine?
If you’re eligible to get vaccinated now, you can check with a large vaccination hub and/or a local vaccine provider, like a nearby pharmacy or your doctor.
Important Information
Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines both require two doses. It’s best if you take both doses of the same company.
The timing between your first and second dose depends on which vaccine you received:
- Moderna:Â 4 to 6 weeks after your first dose
- Pfizer:Â 3 to 6 weeks after your first dose

Who is eligible for the vaccine?
Texas is currently in Phase 1B. With previous phases, this includes the following groups:
- People with 65 or 65+ age
- Healthcare workers
- Long-term care facility residents and workers
- Adults with high-risk medical conditions
