Google Undertakes Investment of $7 Billion to Create Jobs in U.S
Google will invest $7 billion in the U.S to create 10,000 jobs this year, the tech giants’ CEO Sundar Pichai said on Thursday.
”We plan to invest over $7 billion in offices and data centers across the U.S and create at least 10,000 new full-time Google jobs in the US this year,” said Sundar Pichai
Alphabet Inc. is also investing in offices and data centers, it has invested more than $1 billion in its home state of California. Google CEO said that part of the investment will be used in Nebraska, South Carolina, Virginia, Nevada, and Texas for expansions.
Google will also invest $250 million in Hudson Square said New York, Mayor Bill de Blasio. He also said that .”the technology is doubling down in New York, cont ”they know how much talent is here.”
”An important element of our operation loss is that we have been building out our organization ahead of revenue, and that includes our product portfolio, the network of data centers,” said Ruth Porat, chief financial officer of Alphabet and Google.
