Accused of killing two co-workers and injuring two others in an open firing dies by presumed suicide
A man opens fire at the Mueller Co. plant in Albertville, Alabama and in the process killed two of his colleagues and injured the other two. After the attack, the shooter fled the scene and later allegedly shot himself and died. The identity of the shooter has not been disclosed by the police.
“The person believed to be the shooter and the vehicle were located just before 6 a.m. this morning in the area of Carlisle Street in Guntersville. The person was deceased from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There is no danger to the public. Guntersville Police are handling the scene in Guntersville,” said police Chief Jamie Smith while talking to the press.
