All you want to know about Michael Jordan; A shining star still in ascent
The five times ‘Most Valuable Player’ winner, a Presidential Medal of Freedom Honorary- Michael Jordan, who played for the Chicago Bulls for six NBA Championships. He was the star of the 80s and 90s. Now retired, the legendary basketball player is an established Actor and Businessman- he is the chairman of Charlotte Hornets of the NBA and of 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.

His net worth is $160 crores as set out by Forbes for the year 2021. MJ has five children- three from his first marriage and two from his second.

Some things you might not know about him:
In his Junior year of college, MJ dropped out of college to join NBA in the year 1984, he later had to finish his college degree in Geography to pursue his professional career in Basketball.
He was the third overall pick when Chicago Bulls drafted him.

After Wilt Chamberlain, he was the first player to have scored more than 1000 points in a single season.
In 1993, MJ retired from basketball saying he had lost interest in the game and did not have it in his heart to keep playing. He returned back to the Bulls in 1995 with even more fervour.

He also played baseball in high school, his father who was the one who introduced him to the world and motivated him to take it by storm wanted him to go ahead with baseball.

Nike collaborated with MJ and launched the Air Jordan Line which remains to be one of the most successful sneakers by the company. MJ is on the board of Directors at Nike.

He had open a chain of Restaurants starting with Michael Jordan’s The Steak House in New York which was closed in 2018.

He was bestowed with the great honour of getting inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009. It officially marked the end of his time as a professional basketball player.

He played in the Olympics two times, the team won gold in ’84 and again in ’92.
MJ’s daily habits that should be adopted for a healthy lifestyle:
Starting the day with mild exercise, including stretching and a little warm-up. Body conditioning and consistency is essential.

Injury prevention exercises for joints that is wrists, fingers, ankles and toes.
The breakfast should be. the biggest and most nutritious meal of the day.
Eating not until one is full but until it is comfortable.
A healthy balance of work and personal time keep one good at and passionate about work and stress levels in check.

Keep it in mind that a person cannot be liked by everyone- “It’s heavy-duty to try to do everything and please everybody… I can’t live with what everyone’s impression of what I should or what I shouldn’t do.”
