Due to this, there’s been a ton of canards and theories about what the threequel might entail and what the fans can expect, the most accepted of which being that previous Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield have roles. And now it looks like Garfield’s stunt double may be on the movie’s set, just confirming that for us!
While it isn’t official yet, we could get this bit of information from a keen fan who monitored accounts of various contributors to the franchise. Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently filming and fans gasped with a surprise when Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man stunt man William Spencer started posting on social media alongside Tom Holland’s current double Greg Townley. The above tweet reveals the now-deleted Instagram posts of Andrew Garfield’s stunt double William Spencer. Was this a sheer mistake or an intended gimmick? Whatever it might be, it has sure sent fans into a frenzy! Since the filming is being done keeping all the Covid-19 protocols in place, it seems highly unlikely that the two stunt doubles would hang out for the sake of camaraderie.
