Anne-Marie joins the Stephen Lawrence campaign
Anne-Marie joins the Stephen Lawrence Campaign. The British pop singer took to her Instagram story stating, “We will never forget Stephen Lawrence.”

The Stephen Lawrence Day was founded by the then Prime Minister Theresa May in 2019, on the 25th anniversary of Stephen’s death. It is a day to commemorate the legacy of the teenager, who was murdered on April 22, 1993.
The day calls to contribute to anti-racism as a goal to defend Stephen Lawrence’s legacy. There are certain ways, people can contribute to it. It is a day to introspect how our own actions affects the society at large.
The Stephen Lawrence Foundation strives to make people aware of their actions and to encourages them to make positive amends to the society. The best thing about the campaign is the flexibility. You can participate in local projects, become the voice for the ones who’d held back long since, share videos, write a dedication and spread awareness against race-inequality.
The Rockabye singer just did the right thing, reaching the targeted youth audience and thus amplifying the voice to keep alive the legacy of Stephen Lawrence.
