Annika is a British television criminal drama series based on the BBC Radio 4 drama Annika Stranded. The first episode, produced by Black Camel Productions for Alibi and All3Media, debuted on August 17, 2021. Annika is of Norwegian descent, which is similar to the original radio series Annika Stranded, which was also written by Nick Walker (no related to Nicola) and starred Nicola Walker in the main character, but was set in Oslo rather than Glasgow.
Annika’s comeback for a second series was officially announced in August 2022.
