Archbishop of Canterbury denies secret wedding claims made by the Duchess of Sussex

It’s a new controversy for the British Royal family with a new statement against Duke and Duchess of Sussex came into the light. Recently, the Archbishop of Canterbury gave his official words on the statement given by Meghan Markle during the Oprah Winfrey interview.

Justine Welby, the Archbishop gave a clear statement on the claims made by the Duchess that she and the prince were married three days prior to their royal wedding. The Archbishop denied the claims saying that they were not legally married before the main wedding. He even denied that he was the one who carried out the unofficial wedding for the couple.

The Duchess claimed in the interview that they were married at a secret ceremony in their backyard. However, the church officials denied the claimed before producing the certificate. And now the statement from Archbishop gave rise to a new fire in the family.
