Sharon Stone, the iconic diva of Hollywood who took the world with her role in Basic Instinct, says her dress-up scene was not confirmed by the directors.
The versatile actress is all set to release her new memoir The Beauty of Living Twice which is exclusively getting published and released by Vanity Fair on coming Tuesday, talks about her career experience.

The leading lady of Hollywood even threw some light about her infamous revealing up-dress scene from her famous movie Basic Instinct. The actress said that while filming the scene in 1992, the director instructed her to remove her underwear for the scene’s demand. The director guaranteed that her private parts won’t be on display during the scene but then violated his own statement during the movie release.
The Oscar-nominated actress even wrote that she viewed the footage with a room full of lawyers. However, after the reveal, things caught up being physical between director Paul Verhoeven. She added, “It didn’t matter anymore. It was me and my parts up there. I had to make a decision, I went to the projection booth, slapped Paul across the face, left, went to my car, and called my lawyer.”
