Bob Saget comes out in defence of Candace Cameron Bure, after haters call the latter ‘Fake’
Candace Cameron Bure takes the help of Bob Saget to justify herself on her haters’ remark of being called ‘Fake’.
In the April 12 episode of the comedian Bob’s podcast ‘Bob Saget’s Here For You’, the Hallmark Channel actress confronted and addressed to her haters’ remarks of being called ‘Fake’.
Bob Saget has played Candace’s dad on TV in ‘Fuller House’.
Candace asked Bob, “I’m going to ask you to talk about me for a second. For those people that think that because I am a happy, positive person, that I must be a fake person, would you say that that’s true or false?”
To this, her former reel dad Bob replied, “You’re the opposite of fake,” Bob told Candace. “And I’m sorry — you’re perky sometimes. What’s wrong with being perky?”
Getting quite emotional for his TV daughter, Bob expressed, “It’s hard — life can beat people down. Also, you’re very fortunate. You’ve had a lot of things happen, but you also work really hard.”
Candace seemed to be moved from Bob’s kind words for her and shared, “I only ask that because sometimes you read comments, and most of them, they roll off my back. But when people are annoyed at me that I’m such a happy person…I was like, let someone speak into this that’s known me since I was nine years old.”
Candace and Bob have known each other since a long time. They have portrayed a father-daughter relationship since the series Full House in 1987 to Fuller House in 2016.
