CDC says it’s okay for vaccinated people to not wear masks at some places
US takes one more step towards normalcy as Centre for Disease Control gives the fully vaccinated population a green flag to step out without worrying about face masks and social distancing, albeit in only some places only.
There are some things that have to be kept in mind- individuals who are immunocompromised have to discuss the whole ordeal with their doctors for a clear, if one develops COVID 19 like symptoms they will have to follow old restrictions. If there are any further casualties like a new outbreak, change in strain of the virus, sudden spike in cases- the guidelines will change back, said CDC Director Rochelle Walensky in a Press Conference earlier today.
Big news from the CDC: If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask – indoors or outdoors, in most settings.
We’ve gotten this far. Whether you choose to get vaccinated or wear a mask, please protect yourself until we get to the finish line. pic.twitter.com/XI4yPmhWaD
