Celebrity remarriage is not a new concept. With the standards of Hollywood, heartbreak and divorce are frequent phenomena.

Here are a few examples of celebrities marrying more than once .

Tom Cruise

Kim Kardashian West fled with Damon Thomas, the music producer to finally get divorced in 2004. Surprisingly, her marriage to Kris Humphries, the basketball star in 2011 lasted just 72 days. In 2014, Kim tied the knot with  Kanye West. However, in 2021, she has yet again filed for a divorce.

Marc Anthony

Marc Anthony and his wife of two years, Maria Von Ritchie Lopez divorced in 2000. Later that year, he married Dayanara Torres. In 2004, Anthony married Jennifer Lopez for the next ten years before their split. Anthony married for the fourth time in 2014. Shannon De Lima and he stayed together till 2016.

Tom Hanks

From 1978 to 1987, Tom Hanks and Samatha Lewes were together. The actor-couple had 2 children together. Then in 1998, Hanks married Rita Wilson and have two children.

Madonna

Both relatively new in the Tinseltown, Madonna and Sean Penn got married in 1985. In the succeeding year, she dedicated ‘True Blue’, her third album to Penn. Then they had a divorce in 1989. Then Madonna re-pronounced her vows to Guy Ritchie, the English filmmaker. Eventually, it ended in 2008 when Madonna filed a divorce.
