As the origins of the virus, that brought the world to its knees, remains a mystery, USA and UK are persuading the UN to investigate the matter at the very place it all started- Hubei, Wuhan.
China has heavily criticised the move under the pretext that in this crucial time, the priorities of every government should be coping from loss due the pandemic and that this investigation is coming in the way of saving lives and fighting the outbreak.

“We maintain that the virus tracing work should rely on scientists instead of intelligence personnel.” said Wang Wenbin, the spokesperson at China’s Foreign Ministry.
