Daniel Breaker joins Peacock’s ‘Girls5eva’

Actor Daniel Breaker who rose to fame through films like Billions and Mozart in the Jungle has joined the cast of Peacock’s ‘Girls5eva’ by Tina Fey and Meredith Scardino.

‘Girls5eva’ is an 8-episode long comedy series created by Scardino.

The series is all set to premier on Thursday, May 6 by the NBC streaming platform.

Daniel has joined the caste which includes others like Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell and Busy Philipps.

The story revolves around a 90s hit girl band. The band members reunite after their hit is examined by a young rapper. They dream of being ‘Girls5eva’ besides their boring regular life of having to look after their spouses, family, children, jobs and much more trouble and pain.

Daniel Breaker will be playing Dawn’s husband Scott, a supportive yet an unsecured  partner who puts in lots of efforts to adjust to the changes and Dawn’s commitment to restart her music career with the band.

The comedy series ‘Girls5eva’ is produced by Universal Television, a Universal Studio Group division.

It has been co-produced by Scardino, Jeff Richmond, Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, David Miner and Eric Gurian.
