Dua Lipa shares her song Levitating being in top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100
In her new Instagram story, Dua Lipa shares her ‘Levitating’ hitting a Top5 in Billboard Hot 100.
It was just yesterday that Dua Lipa set the Oscars’ set on fire with her legendary performance and today her song‘Levitating’ featured in the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100.
An electro-disco song with various elements of pop and several lyrical references to space and the outer, ‘Levitating’ is the 5th single from her 2nd studio album, ‘Future Nostalgia’. It was written combinedly by Clarence Coffee Jr, Sarah Hudson and Stephen Kozmeniuk.
“It had to be fun and bubbly but with lyrics that felt really smart. This is about me exploring happy songs and doing something that’s not ‘dance crying’. It’s about having fun and meeting someone and falling in love and thinking, ‘You’ve probably met me at the perfect time, let’s just go for it.’ It’s the feeling when love makes you feel like you’re levitating. It’s otherworldly. Things get quite Daft Punk-y here, but it’s playful”, Lipa had quoted on Levitating.
