The fourth episode of the fourth season of this series titled ‘Milk’ has garnered a lot of curiosity by the fans and viewers who have things to say about the milk tanker, which served as the handmaids June and Janine’s escape transport from Gilead.

The ‘Milk’ story revolves around June convincing Janine to make an escape for things to get better and how the plan would be safe and create no trouble for them.

When Janine agrees, the two start sprinting down the railway tracks to make their escape from Gilead where they were forced into child-bearing slavery like many other Handmaids.

The duo further hop onto a train, making it their escape transport and head towards a milk tanker to hide inside understating the temperature of milk. As they get in, they begin to freeze as the milk was quite cold and start arguing for a way out when June successfully drains all of it out before they drown.

Fans of the series have been seeking answers to various questions regarding the milk tanker on the train.
They are curious about why was milk there in the first place or was that the way it was transported and why not any other beverage?
They are also wanting to know whether June and Janine come out of the tanker soaking in milk, all sticky and wet and had amazingly soft skin later.
Wouldn’t the milk make the duo smell bad and now people would have the irrational fear of milk witnessing this episode, are some more questions that viewers have.
One joked, “ok soo.. treading MILK in an enclosed MILK tank on a long-haul moving train is where I draw the line. As a claustrophobic lactose intolerant, this is my personal HELL. No amount of pepto bismal and lactaid can make this ok.”
Another joked, “I can’t believe June and Janine escaped just to almost drown in a giant vat of milk. Idk if that scene was meant to be funny.. but it was.”
One person also tweeted, “WTF would they jump into a tank of milk. And WHY would there be lights inside the tank. This show is becoming freaking ridiculous.”
In the episode reviews, people say that it doesn’t sound like a good idea to jump into something without verifying it’s content first and in this case, at least the duo have something cold to drink so they wouldn’t go thirsty!
