Extraction 2: Is it coming in April 2023? Check out the release date, potential cast and everything we know so far

Sam Hargrave and Joe Russo’s forthcoming action thriller Extraction 2 is based on the comic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman. Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani, and Adam Bessa reprise their roles in this sequel to the 2020 movie, and Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili join the cast. The second installment was supposed to start shooting in Sydney, Australia in September 2021, but COVID-19 pandemic-related precautions forced production to Prague.

Moreover, the filming for Extraction 2 was officially wrapped on April 6, 2022.

The network has confirmed the released date of the film, recently. Extraction 2 is all set and scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 16, 2023.

Extraction 2: What is the plotline?

Currently, the plotline of the upcoming film is still kept under the wraps. Chris Hemsworth will gear up and get into character to reprise his three-year-old Tyler Rake persona. In this chapter, Rake finds himself in trouble after taking part in yet another dangerous expedition to free a brutal Georgian gangster’s devastated family from their confinement. However, according to the reports, Black operations mercenary Tyler Rake, who was thought to be killed in the previous movie, will be back for another risky assignment.
