Falcon and the Winter Soldier: 3 popular fan theories you should read about this Marvel’s Disney+ series

It might be a heroic end to the Avengers on Avengers: Endgame, but surely not a stop for Marvel Cinematic Universe! You can hear me screaming through these words about the latest Falcon and Winter Soldier series coming on Disney plus Hotstar.

When Disney and MCU announced their upcoming series on the OTT platform, fans were over the moon to watch the building chemistry between Sam and Bucky. We were introduced to these characters with Captain America: Civil War as best friends of our very own Steve Rogers. The two action heroes, who often comedically butt heads will be seen in more comedic action-packed series on Disney+.

To see Falcon and the Winter Soldier sharing the same screen with a larger screen time will be a greater joy for the marvel fans. Finally, Bucky Barns aka The Winter Soldier will have more than 50 minutes of the screenplay! A series of trailers are out and we can probably get our head around some logistic fan fiction trending on the internet.

Hence, following the trend, we have some of our assumptions that may or may not turn out to be true!

Of course, we are now aware of the fact that we live in a world without Captain America, as he passed on his shield to Sam in Endgame. As interpreted from the trailers Bucky and Sam come face to face with what is presumed to be the Red Skull. We also presume that our new Captain America aka Sentinel of Liberty aka the Falcon comes face to face with an old foe, Sin, better known for being the daughter of the Red Skull. Well, that could be interesting seeing two new generations of supers’ ad villains colliding!

As far as the storyline goes, our minds are centred around the idea that this series might be a fight for the Captain’s shield and title moreover, realizing what it means to be a hero for the country. At the end of the Endgame, we all saw cap passing the shield but he was never got a chance to announce the new Captain America officially. Which can be debated and put into contention opening the doors for the US government, mainly John Walker, for a fair fight.

In the comics, the series takes a turn with Buck and Sam facing each other in the battle of righteous gaining the shield and we can also see from the trailers the involvement of Hydra is in with some extra juice.

In an alternate theory, the Civil War Zokovian villain, Hydra member, Zemo could have had a hand behind the destruction of the heroes as shown in the trailers. We might see this Hydra follower bringing down the new Captain America and the winter soldier down after the fall of the Avengers. We might even see a role played by Sharon Carter, Peggy’s niece, following up with the duo during the scene.

It was noted before in the Civil War that Sam and Bucky are enemies of the state and we can only contemplate on the theory that Sharon might against the heroes. When it comes down to the shield-wielding Captain America’s power there might be a fight between Sam and the government in returning the shield to John Walker.

Wrapping it up, we cannot deny that Marvel comics are way more different and twisted than the movie and series adaptation, and with the new Falcon and the Winter Soldier series we are going to see some definite changes and additions. Moreover, we will be witnessing that fun comic due to Sam and Bucky trying to be friends and working together. We do hear in the trailer Sam confirming Bucky that they are co-workers and not partners, so, we hope to see more bonding than the kill bill saga going between them.

The exclusive gloss is set to release on the 19th of March and as a Marvel fangirl, I cannot keep my calms, and hopefully you guys too!
