An American erotic psychological thriller miniseries titled Fatal Attraction was created by Alexandra Cunningham and Kevin J. Hynes and is based on the James Dearden-penned 1987 film of the same name. The show is scheduled to debut on Paramount+ on April 30, 2023. In February 2021, Paramount Pictures initially hinted that it would be making television adaptations of its films. At the time, it named Fatal Attraction, Flashdance, The Italian Job, Love Story, and The Parallax View as being in production for Paramount+. Once Glenn Close’s character Alex was played by Lizzy Caplan in the movie, the series received a formal series order in November.
